Week 19 : lines

Ten year plans

HW: Think about your life in ten years.


We started off the day by putting our chairs down and taking a seat. We wrote down our agendas, Ms. Nakada asked us to take out our English Notebook to write the song  "See You Again" Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth. Next, we move on to our lines, "Just As the Calendar Began to Say Summer" by Mary Oliver. We glued the lines into the notebooks. After we did so, Adrian was the first to read the poem. After he read the poem, Joleigh the second person to read the poem. After she was done, Ms. Nakada was explaining what the poem was about and what it means. When she was done, she asked everyone to take their Chromebooks out, go to the class page, and look at jobs/careers and how much income you get with that job or career.

Finally, we got packed up and left to second period.

Agenda take a minute  blogs / corrections  Week 16 : grammar - quote  NaPoWriMo Submissions  HW - NaPoWriMo Submissions due May 8th !  Poetry Slam May 12th ! We started the day by heading into class and sitting in our assign seats and pulling out our binder reminder and English notebook. Then, we wrote down the agenda. After that, we began to write down the week 16 grammar and the quote for the week by Fred Korematsu. The quote what basically saying to stand up and speak up for yourself if you have a feeling  something wrong. Once we were done with that, we had to work on our broadside for the rest of the class.

 Agenda Take a minute  blog/corrections Week 7: Lines  Lit. circle essays  HW: Essays due 3/4 read toward IRP goal We started off the day by doing our blog and listening to the speech by Sojourner Truth and wrote about it then shortly after we continued working on our essays. Then, the bell rang and we left class.
