Week 5: Lines

SCHOOL TRIP/Readers Workshop

HW: Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/15


We started off the day by going to the book fair. Once we came back from the book fair, we wrote down the agenda. Then, we pulled our writing books out, and we glued our song lines down onto our paper and answered the question "How can we better balance hard work, and taking care of ourselves?" After, we read the lines which said "It doesn't have to be / the blue iris, it could be / weeds in a vacant lot, or a few /  small stones; just / pay attention, then patch // a few words together and don't try / to make them elaborate, this isn't / a contest but the doorway // into thanks, and a silence in which / another voice may speak." We then had to draw a moment showing parent advice, an adult problem, or sleep over fun. Then, the bell rang, and we left class.

  Agenda  Take a minute blog/corrections  Creatober day 3 Week 8:Quiz SCHOOL TRIP    HW Read THE OUTSIDERS   p. 1-84 by Monday! First, we all marched into class, and all yelled "123 MARCH 123 MARCH 123 MARCH". Then, we sat down in our seats and took our thinking caps out of our backpacks and began singing to the choir, and began writing our agenda. After that, we did our take a minute video, Then, two little elves came up and read their blog. Subsequently, we began our createobers and, little elf number six did her Blueberry bowl out of  elf ear wax, and elf number seven made her little green bean soldier holding 67. When we finished our createobers and pulled out our English notebooks, we started going over our notes for the week 8 Quiz and the Footwahb. OH shoot. My Latin came out. I meant elves. Then, we took the week 8 Quiz, but we removed our thinking caps because that could be considered cheating because Peter Pan whispers in your third brai...
