 Agenda:  Take a minute  Blog/ Corrections Week 8: Question and Song  SCHOOL TRIP  ACE Homework: Read THE OUTSIDERS   pages 1-84 by Monday. Everyone walked into the classroom and sat down in their seats. We wrote down the agenda in our binder reminders, and we watched the take a minute video. Then, Dario and Zuria came up and read the blog, and when they were done, I came up and did the blog, because I have not done my second blog yet. After that, we took out English notebooks and wrote down the question and listened to the song for the week. Then, the bell rang, and we left the classroom when Ms. Nakada dismissed us. 

Agenda Take a minute blog/corrections Week 8 : Grammar Quote  SCHOOL TRIP ACE HW: THE OUTSIDERS P. 1-84 by Monday We started off the day by getting seated and writing today's agenda. After, Jaiden got up and read his blog to the class. Then, he choose Me, and I asked Zuria to do the blog with me. Right after that, we began to write in our English notebooks. In our notebooks we started to do our grammar and quote. After that, Ms Nakada said on Wednesday October first is the start of Creatober. Now, she moved on to ACE for those who haven't finished the ACE. Then, she started passing out the new book we are going to read, The Outsiders . Last, we packed up and left to go to second period.

 Agenda take a minute blog/corrections week 7: quiz School Trip We started off the day by doing our binder reminders and Ms. Nakada checking it. Then, we reviewed our notebooks for the week 7 quiz. Then, we took our quiz. After the quiz, we did our Sch ool Trip  A.C.E. After that, we packed up, and the bell rang.

Agenda Take a minute    Blog /Corrections SCHOOL TRIP ACE HW Finish books by Monday 9/29 First, we started class by taking out our agendas. Then, we took a minute. After that, we took out our English notebooks and glued in our lines for "Invisible Fish" by Joy Harjo. We went over it and wrote what we thought it was about. Later on, we turned to our School Trip notes and started going over the book, and did ACE. Joleigh got sent outside. Then, finally the bell rang , and we got dismissed.

  Agenda Take a minute  blog/ corrections  Week: 7 song Book project gallery walk School Trip ACE Homework: Finish books by Monday 9/29. First, we came into class sat in our seats. Then, we wrote down our agendas. Jonathon and Jacob read their blog from Monday. Later, we did our Week: 7 song. Ms. Nakada played us a podcast about the song: " La Bamba" by Ritchie Valens, Los Lobos. We then walked around the classroom, to look at our Book projects.

After, August and Pedro read their blog and chose Jacob and then chose me. Then, we got out our agendas. Then, we put they them away. After, we got our English notebooks and we down and wrote down our page 12. Then, we did our quote, and then, we did our question. After, we did our book projects and read our books if we did work on our book projects. Then, we packed up.

 Agenda: Take a minute blog/corrections week 6: quiz SCHOOL TRIP  ACE reader's/writer's workshop HW: Read another 100 pages of your book by Monday 9/22/2025 Today we walked into class, and then, we sat down and started listening to Steven's blog. Then, we went over the notes for the quiz. Then, we took the quiz. After we were done with the quiz, we did some silent reading time. Then, we packed up and left.       

 Agenda: Take a minute blog/corrections Week 6: Lines SCHOOL TRIP  A.C.E Reader's/Writer's Workshop HW: Read another 100 pages of  your book by Monday 9/22 We started off the day by writing down the agenda. Once we wrote down the agenda, I got chosen to do the blog. We then pulled our writing books out and glued our lines down on our paper, read it and took notes on it. Then, we started working on our SCHOOL TRIP  notes. Then, we packed our things and left.

 AGENDA  take a minute  blog/corrections  Week 6 - Song  SCHOOL TRIP  BOOK PROJECTS HW- Read another 100 pages of you're book by Monday 9/22. We started the day off by sitting down in our seats and pulling out our binder reminders. Then, Aaden and Jayden got up and started to read their blog. They picked me, and I picked Irma. After they were done, we listened to a song "Soy Yo" by Bomba Estéreo. After, we started writing about what the song is about, the tone, and our favorite lyric. After, we started to do our Independent reading plan, only for 7 minutes. And after that, we started to do our book project. We talked about the project that we are suppose to do, and we packed up and left.

  Agenda  Take a minute  blog/corrections week-6: Questions School Trip Book projects Hw- Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/22 We got in the class, and we went to our seats. We did the Agenda. After we watched the calm down video, Zuri and Adrian came up and did their blog. After they read their blog, they picked Aaden and me. Ms. Nakada told us to open our composition books and we did our Individualized Reading Plans. After, we wrote we read our books for four minutes. Then, we packed up to go to our second period.

Agenda Take a minute Blog/corrections  Week 6: Grammar Quote SCHOOL TRIP  BOOK PROJECTS HW: Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/22 We started off the morning by getting into our new seats. After, we sat down and wrote our agendas down in our binder reminders. As soon as we finished, Irma read her blog, and she choose Zuria and me. We then, began our Week 6: Grammar - Quote- Song - Lines and started reviewing everything we learned last week. We were also learning about complex sentences. Then, after that, Ms. Nakada showed us a video on TikTok of our quote: "Orgulloso means proud in Spanish. I am orgulloso being Latino, orgulloso being from Mexico and orgulloso being me. Lastly, we began our book projects on page 11. Then, we got dismissed.

AGENDA  Take a minute  Blogs / corrections  SCHOOL TRIP ACE WEEK 5 : Quiz / readers workshop  HW: Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/15.    We started the day by sitting down and writing our agendas.  Steven got up to read his first blog. After he was done, I was picked to do my first blog. Then, we started writing an ACE prompt on School Trip.  Ms. Nakada notices that the class was working pretty quietly, so she gave us a point.   Then, once we all finish the assignment, we started doing the week 5 Quiz.  We started packing up, and then we left.

  Agenda: Take a minute Blog/corrections Week 5: Lines SCHOOL TRIP/ Readers Workshop HW: Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/15 We started off the day by going to the book fair. Once we came back from the book fair, we wrote down the agenda. Then, we pulled our writing books out, and we glued our song lines down onto our paper and answered the question "How can we better balance hard work, and taking care of ourselves?" After, we read the lines which said "It doesn't have to be / the blue iris, it could be / weeds in a vacant lot, or a few /  small stones; just / pay attention, then patch // a few words together and don't try / to make them elaborate, this isn't / a contest but the doorway // into thanks, and a silence in which / another voice may speak." We then had to draw a moment showing parent advice, an adult problem, or sleep over fun. Then, the bell rang, and we left class.

Take a minute Blog/corrections Week 5: Song SCHOOL TRIP  / readers workshop. HW: Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/15 We walked into class after winning the stem drone competition. Then, Ms Nakada read Isabella and Katie read their blog. Next, we listened to "Non Je Ne Regrete Rien" by Edith Piaf, and  Ms. Nakada  told us to write down our favorite lyrics and what the song means to us. Then, we started writing about SCHOOL TRIP . We started writing about a little bit of French vocabulary. Next, we were doing an Independent Reading Plan, and we are going to try to read up to 250,000. Then, we packed up.  

  Agenda Take a minute Blog/Corrections Week 5 question HW: Read 100 pages of a book of your choice by Monday 9/15 We came into class and sat down in our seats. Then, we took our binder reminder out and started writing our agenda. We took a minute and watched a video about the water cycle. We took out our English notebooks. Then, we started reviewing the quote from  SCHOOL TRIP,  and then began writing our Week 5 :Question.  Later, on Ms. Nakada crashed out on Jayden for not doing his work. Then, Ms. Nakada quoted, "copying is the highest form of flattery." Ms. Nakada also spoke about "THE TIKTOK."  Finally, we packed up and got dismissed.

 Agenda Take a minute Blog/corrections Week 4 Quiz Grammar Quote SCHOOL TRIP Hw Read 100 pages of a book of your choice First, we came into class, sat in our seats and, wrote the agenda in our binder reminders. Then, we took the week 4 quiz. After that, we started taking notes in our English notebooks. We start packing up and wait for Ms. Nakada to dismiss us from class.

 Agenda- take a minute blog/corrections A.C.E School Trip ch 1-3 week 4 quiz. HW enjoy the weekend Today we started A.C.E. in our notebooks. Then, we retook quiz 1, and we did quiz 4. Then, we left.

Agenda  Take a minute blog/corrections week 4: Grammar Quote SCHOOL TRIP Quiz #1  HW: Finish SCHOOL TRIP by Thursday We walked in quietly, and sat down to write our agendas. Then, Joleigh, and Ione read their blog, and chose me and Zuria to do the next blog. After that, we took out our English notebooks, and started writing Week 4 Grammar Quote. Then, we discussed about NEW KID , CLASS ACT , and, SCHOOL TRIP .  Next, everybody began their SCHOOL TRIP Quiz. The quiz is worth 4 points. Lastly, Ms. Nakada dismissed us.
